| The following questions and answers are meant as an overview. We expect that you may have additional questions specific to your situation and needs. We await the opportunity to be of service to you. Are you a licensed agency? Yes, New York Domestics Inc. is licensed, bonded and regulated by the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. New York DCA # 1141131. Where do your applicants come from and how do you find them? All of our candidates reside in the United States and are recruited in a number of ways. We find that due to our reputation, word of mouth is our best way of finding qualified candidates. What are your requirements for candidates to sign up with your agency? All candidates must have a minimum two years of experience at the position they are applying for. Reference names, phone numbers and addresses must be furnished for verification. All must account for the past seven years of employment. All gaps in employment must be accounted for and a list of locations for where the candidate has resided for the past seven years must be furnished. What is your interview and reference checking process? The first steps of our due diligence process begins with an extensive face to face interview at our New York office where all candidates are evaluated based on temperament, attitude, skills, strengths, weaknesses and work history. All references are contacted and verified prior to presentation. Criminal background checks are conducted by an outside firm and all findings are furnished prior to start date. Will referred candidates reference information (names & phone #'s) be made available to me for verification? Yes, all reference information will be made available to you for verification at the official offering and acceptance of position. What happens if due to no fault of mine the hired candidate leaves after your 45 day guarantee period is up? New York Domestics understands that sometimes circumstances arise after said guarantee period. We are an agency that prides itself on recommendations and not just a one time fee. We are an agency that truly cares. When these situations arise they are handled on a case by case basis and our clients are offered a credit towards the fee for the next candidate.
